Reception and Key Stage One:

All children in Reception, Year 1 and Year 2 are entitled to receive a free school lunch.

From October 2020, we became a cooking kitchen that means we now prepare and cook our own meals on site.

If you send your child with a packed lunch please use a plastic lunch box that is clearly labelled with your child’s name. Fizzy drinks are not permitted; they should be still and stored in either a carton or plastic bottle. Water is readily available in school.

As a healthy eating school we encourage our parents to send a well balanced lunch and limit the amount of chocolate, sweets and crisps that are eaten. Pupils are rewarded with healthy eating stickers every time a lunchtime supervisor spots a super lunchbox.

Key Stage Two:

Children in Key Stage Two have the option to bring sandwiches or purchase a school dinner. A school dinner costs £2.15 and must be booked and paid for via the School Gateway App. Menu options are sent out termly which itemise the selection of food available that term. There is always a vegetarian option provided each day as well as access to a free salad trolley.

Each Year group has a designated member of the dinner staff who supervises them in the hall and on the playground.

Please contact the school office if you wish to discuss any dietary requirements and/or you need support accessing the School Gateway App; we will always do our best to accommodate your child's needs and support you.
