St John's Ambulance

Our KS2 children had a fantastic opportunity to develop some important life skills when they welcomed St John Ambulance into school.

During the session, the children were taught vital first aid messages and practical skills that could help them respond confidently in an emergency. They learnt about the importance of staying calm, getting help and knowing what actions to take when someone needs first aid.

The children listened brilliantly, asked thoughtful questions and showed great attitudes when learning and practising these potentially life-saving skills. The session also linked closely to our values of Empathy, Respect and Community, particularly the importance of looking after and helping others.

A huge thank you to St John Ambulance for giving our children such an engaging and valuable experience. These are skills and messages that we hope our children will remember and carry with them throughout their lives.
