Keep up to date with all the latest news happening in school at the moment.
We had a full house for both our EYFS/KS1 and KS2 Harvest Assemblies this year!
Thank you to everyone that was able to join us for our morning of celebration. Children from across the school presented songs, poems, art work and prayers as we took time to think about the importance of sharing what we have.
Our wonderful School Mayor, Aidan, led the assembly confidently, and we were especially pleased to have Deacon Helen from Ablewell Food Bank with us to explain what happens to all of the generous donations.
Again this year your generosity was wonderful and our hall was filled with your donations that will go to support those in need in our community.
On Census Day (Thursday 3rd October), we celebrated this day by offering a special themed menu.
Based upon the theme of Julia Donaldson’s The Gruffalo, our cook put together an exciting menu of:
Knobbly Knees nuggets and Terrible Tusks chips, served with Scrambled Snake cucumber slices and Poisonous Wart peas.
This was followed by Gruffalo Crumble cakes or Owl Ice Cream.
The children had a lovely time eating together in our decorated hall, while staff served them.
