  • Anti-bullying Week 2022

    Mon 21 Nov 2022

We have once again participated in Odd Socks Day which marks the beginning of Anti-Bullying Week from Monday 14th to Friday 18th November. We are celebrating everything that makes us unique and helping to spread kindness.  We have made a donation of £100 to the Anti-Bullying Alliance in support of their 'Reach Out' campaign.

If we come together and reach out to others, we can spread positivity and kindness and counter the harm and hurt that bullying causes.

  • Wear Red Day

    Thu 20 Oct 2022

Show racism the red card is the UK’s leading anti-racism educational charity. Annually they hold a special ‘Wear Red’ day.

On 20th October, our school, in partnership with the charity and Walsall Football club held our own ‘Wear Red’ day. The children took part in a range of activities to celebrate differences and individuality. They also developed their understanding of protected characteristics. Walsall FC players met our children and a raffle was drawn that awarded 14 families with match day tickets.

Especially exciting, was Millie winning the special prize of becoming the match mascot.

We had such a great day and raised £110 for the charity too!

  • Harvest Assembly

    Wed 19 Oct 2022

It was standing room only at our Harvest Assembly this year!

Thank you to everyone that was able to join us for our morning of celebration. Children from across the school presented songs, poems and prayers as we took time to think about the importance of sharing what we have.

Our wonderful School Mayor, Evie-Rose, led the assembly beautifully, and we were especially pleased to have a representative from Ablewell Food Bank with us to explain what happens to all of the generous donations.
